Last updated: January 2026. This document describes the cookies used on the Cradeon website, how they function, and the options available to manage cookie preferences.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to remember preferences, understand how visitors use a site, and enable certain website functions. Cookies set by the website owner are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by other services loaded on the website are called third-party cookies.
Cookies can be session cookies, which are deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a set period or until you delete them manually. This policy describes both types used on the Cradeon website.
Cookies on the Cradeon website are organised into three categories. The cookie consent banner allows you to accept all, accept only certain categories, or accept functional cookies only.
Functional cookies are required for the website to operate correctly. They store your cookie consent preference so that the consent banner is not shown on every page visit. They do not collect personal data for profiling or marketing purposes.
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| cradeon_consent | Stores the user's cookie consent preference (accepted categories) | 12 months | First-party, persistent |
| cradeon_session | Maintains session continuity for form submissions on the contact page | Session | First-party, session |
Analytics cookies collect aggregate data about how visitors interact with the Cradeon website. This includes pages visited, time spent on the site, and the general geographic region (country-level only) from which the visit originates. This data is used to understand site performance and improve content. It does not identify individual visitors.
Analytics cookies are only set if you select "Accept All" or "Partial" in the cookie consent banner. They are not set if you select "Functional Only".
| Cookie Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes unique site visitors for Google Analytics aggregate reporting | 24 months | Third-party, persistent |
| _ga_[ID] | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 measurement | 24 months | Third-party, persistent |
This website loads certain assets (fonts, icon libraries, JavaScript libraries) from content delivery networks including Google Fonts, jsDelivr, and cdnjs. These providers may set their own cookies or store data in browser storage to optimise asset delivery. Cradeon does not control the cookies set by these third-party CDN services.
Performance and CDN-related cookies are only loaded if you consent to the "Partial" or "Accept All" option in the cookie banner. Selecting "Functional Only" will limit CDN loading to essential assets only.
Cookie preferences can be managed in the following ways:
Cookie Banner
The cookie consent banner is shown on your first visit to the Cradeon website. You can select which categories of cookie to accept. Your preference is stored in the cradeon_consent cookie and applied on subsequent visits.
Cookie Settings Link
The Cookie Settings link in the website footer re-opens the consent banner at any time, allowing you to change your preference. Your updated preference will be applied immediately.
Browser Settings
Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through the browser privacy settings. Blocking functional cookies may affect the operation of the contact form or cause the consent banner to reappear on each visit. Instructions for managing cookies in common browsers are available in each browser's help documentation.
Cookie consent can be withdrawn at any time by using the Cookie Settings link in the footer or by deleting the cradeon_consent cookie from your browser. After withdrawal, only functional cookies necessary for the website to operate will be used.
Withdrawal of consent applies to future browsing sessions. It does not retroactively affect data already collected by analytics services during periods when consent was active.
The analytics cookies used on this website collect data in aggregate and do not identify individual visitors. The data processed through these cookies is subject to the Privacy Policy.
Functional cookies store only the consent preference value and a session identifier. They do not store personal data such as name, email address, or browsing history.
This Cookie Policy may be updated when new cookies are added, when existing cookies are removed, or when the purpose of a cookie changes. The revision date at the top of this document indicates when the current version came into effect.
